This is Halloween

Went to the theater today to see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D! When the 3D previews started, a jack-o-lantern jumped out into the audience and a little kid in the theater started crying. It was awesome.

Not just for burns

So Greg and I are at Garden Fresh doing some grocery shopping when Greg pulls a strange pouch off the shelf. "Aloe Vera?" I say. "It's a dessert," Greg says. "Ewww," I say. So we buy this chunky gel package, bring it home, and crack it open. It smells like Mr. Freezies. It tastes like sugary goo. Weird. You should try it.

And it's not even mine.

So the other day, Greg gets a package in the mail. And what was this package? Why, it was the Bitter Films Volume One dvd, which has is a collection of all Don Hertzfeldt's animations, including a commentary option so that even though you've seen them before, it's hilarious all over again. But the super awesome cool part is that the package came with 5 frames from the film. Yes, my apartment walls are going to boast five animated cells of a man with an over-sized spoon and a large banana, as well as an authentic autograph. I'm a nerd.
